The Sympatico Percussion Group, of which Professor Susan Powell is a founding member, is featured in the latest issue of Percussive Notes. The article previews their upcoming performance on November 11 at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention, to be held in Indianapolis.

Alongside Powell, Sympatico includes Joseph Krygier (School of Music faculty 2005–2016) and alumnus Johnny Mendoza (DMA 2016), as well as Christopher Norton (Belmont University) and Scott Herring (University of South Carolina). The group will present a preview concert of their convention program in Columbus on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Van Fleet Theater (549 Franklin Avenue, 43215).
