Master Class Application
Students in grades 9–12 and university students are eligible to apply for consideration to play in the master class.
Master class is different from a sectional and involves one student at a time playing for the teacher in front of the audience. It’s like a short public lesson.
You will indicate your desire to be considered to play in the master class on your registration form.
You will also need to provide a link to a YouTube video of you performing 2–3 minutes of a representative solo piece. You can either enter the link to your YouTube video on the registration form, or email the link to Dr. Held no later than Oct. 6.
Students who submit links in hopes of participating in the master class will be notified no later than Oct. 13 whether or not they have been selected.
