Each year, top high school musicians from around Ohio and beyond come to campus to participate in an exciting weekend of high-level music-making through lessons, sectionals and large group rehearsals led by School of Music faculty and current students. Each honor weekend concludes with concerts that are open to the public.

In 2024, we are thrilled to announce the inaugural Ohio State High School Honor String Orchestra Weekend. With the depth and talent of the string education community in Central Ohio and beyond, this annual event will quickly become a favorite.
