Graduate students at Ohio State may enroll in graduate minors and interdisciplinary specializations to document their expertise. Recent students have pursued specializations in College and University Teaching, Nonprofit Studies, and Folklore.
Most students in musicology bring performance skills to their craft, and we encourage our students to remain active musicians. The School of Music regularly offers many opportunities for performance, including orchestras, bands, choirs, a Sonic Arts Ensemble, a Steel Pan Ensemble, and an Andean Music Ensemble.
