The Dan White Sextet has released their second installment of New York Sessions.   This 8 video YouTube series features original music and arrangements of music by Stevie Wonder, Radiohead, Nick Drake, Dave Matthews, and Neil Young.  The project was recorded live and professionally filmed on December 19th and 20th in Brooklyn, New York.  It is part of Dan White's honors research project and was funded by the OSU College of the arts, School of Music, and Jazz Studies Department.  Mark Rubinstein and Kenyatta Beasley advised the project and the band includes 5 current OSU students and recent alumni- Chris Ott, John Hubbell, Adam DeAscentis, and Jon Lampley.  Enjoy a few of them here.
