This award, selected by the Graduate Studies Committee, is given for exceptional research or creative activity within the past two academic years in addition to overall scholarly or creative achievement.

The School of Music Distinguished Teaching Award, established in 1963, is presented annually to outstanding full-time tenured or tenure track School of Music faculty members in recognition of exemplary success as a teacher at The Ohio State University.
