The Ohio State student chapter of the American String Teachers Association (ASTA) has adopted the strings program at Weinland Elementary School. Volunteer student teachers Aaron Wilburn, Gayl Teo, Taylor Kiehl, Katherine Garrett, and Aiden Terry are participating in the community outreach program, organized by chapter president Talia Turnbull, and supervised by faculty advisor Robert Gillespie.  Read about their program in the ASTA Student Chapter News, Spring 2012.pdf
