Ohio State has adopted an interim leadership structure to guide the Marching Band through the upcoming academic year.

Director of University Bands, Professor Russel C. Mikkelson, and Associate Director of University Bands, Scott A. Jones have been appointed to provide operational leadership and oversight of The Ohio State University Marching Band for the 2014-15 season. With these appointments, the new structure incorporates faculty leadership from the College of Arts and Sciences, through which Marching Band students receive academic credit for band participation.
