Justin White, a native of Kent, Ohio, currently serves as the Instructor of Low Brass at Muskingum University and is pursuing his Doctorate of Musical Arts at The Ohio State University. He holds his Master of Music in Tuba Performance from The Ohio State University where he studied with James Akins, and his Bachelor of Music in Brass Performance from The University of Akron where he studied with Dr. Christopher Blaha and Tucker Jolly.
Justin is an active as a freelance musician in Central Ohio performing with several orchestras such as the Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra, Westerville Symphony, New Albany Symphony, ProMusica Chamber Orchestra, and Columbus Symphony Orchestra. He has been featured as a soloist for the Columbus Symphony Pint Size Performance series as well as with the Muskingum Valley Symphonic Winds. In addition to freelancing, Justin maintains a large private studio, which includes students across Central Ohio.
