Additional Faculty Involvement


Lucia Benetti (PhD student) will present her master's thesis at the Research Poster Session on Friday, at noon.

 

Casey Cook, collaborative pianist, will serve as pianist for the All-State Choir and accompany the Ohio State Women's Glee Club.

 

Eugenia Costa-Giomi, music education, will serve as facilitator for the Graduate Research Roundtable (Thursday).

 

Caroline Hartig, clarinet, will serve as coach for the All-State Orchestra clarinet sectional.

 

Bruce Henniss, horn, will coach the horn sectionals for the All-State Band and All-State Orchestra.

 

Katherine Borst Jones, flute, will coach the All-State Orchestra flute sectional.

 

Karen Pierson, bassoon, will coach the All-State bassoon sectionals.

 

Jim Rupp, jazz percussion, will perform the Mancini Suite for Drum Set and Percussion Ensemble with the Lancaster Percussion ensemble Friday at 11 a.m. in CC A120.
 
Juliet-White Smith, viola, will conduct viola chair auditions and sectionals for the All-State Orchestra and will perform with the Women’s Glee Club on Friday morning. 


 

Kia-Hui Tan, violin, will assist with All-State Orchestra seating auditions and coach sectional rehearsals.
