Music Education Welcomes New Faculty

The Ohio State University School of Music

The Music Education area is pleased to announce the appointments of Rick Palese, lecturer, instrumental music education and Jordan Saul, lecturer, choral music education.

Prior to joining the faculty at Ohio State, Palese served as the director of the Music Education Center of America (MECA) Continuing Education program and director of student teaching at VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, Illinois. He has also served as adjunct faculty in the Division of Music Education in the College of Music at the University of North Texas. Read more about Rick Palese.

Prior to joining the Ohio State faculty, Saul was associate director of choral activities and professor of music education at the Conservatory of Music at Baldwin Wallace University. She earned a bachelor of music degree from the University of Arizona, graduating summa cum laude, and earned a master of music at Westminster Choir College, graduating with honors. The music education area is honored to welcome Jordan Saul and Rick Palese to its faculty. Both enjoy nationally recognized profiles as dynamic teachers, conductors, clinicians and scholars in choral, instrumental and general music education.
