Once again, WOSU Classical 101 presents IMMERSE, a collaboration with the Nisonger Center and the Ohio State School of Music, presenting music for children aged 6–12 who are on the autism spectrum.
Children are given the opportunity to enjoy performances by School of Music students in a sensory-friendly setting, with lots of participation, games, and opportunities for quiet "decompression."
The event is FREE, but registration is required and limited to 15 students per session. You may register for one of two sessions on Saturday, April 26 at 1 p.m. or 3 p.m.
IMMERSE is a joint project between WOSU Public Media’s Classical 101, The Ohio State University School of Music and The Ohio State University Nisonger Center, with funding support from Norma Hedgecoth and corporate support from Carlile Patchen & Murphy.
IMMERSE will be held at WOSU Public Media headquarters, located at 1800 N. Pearl Street. Convenient parking is available in the Ohio Union North Garage. Parking validation is included with event registration.
