Mondays, April 29–June 21, 2024
Queer Quire is a mixed adult choir consisting of transgender, non-binary, intersex, gender-non-conforming and gender-fluid individuals and their allies. We celebrate diversity in our vocal presentation and the liberating power of singing and creating harmony and equity for all. This choir will provide its members with a platform for connection, collaboration and creativity and will perform and promote the works by queer composers, honoring choral standards through a new lens of non-gendered voicing. We sing to honor the dignity of the LGBTQ+ community, to celebrate diversity and to inspire understanding, acceptance and change. We welcome anyone who is interested and has a commitment to our mission.
